Pocket LASER light show.

It’s the Spiragraph-inspired laser toy one would normally expect at upper-crust parties and expensive London discotheques, only on a smaller scale for domestic gatherings and happenings with pocket-sized people.

Glowing Brick

The Glow Brick has to be the next best thing to remote-controlled lighting.
A strangely lovely phosphorescent light bulb is entombed in a clear acrylic brick, which lounges about by day, quietly soaking up solar energy, then takes centre stage by night.

At dusk, the light starts glowing all green and mysterious, showing an awesome staying power throughout the darkest hours. The overall effect is of a disembodied shining light bulb suspended in mid air, which, you’d have to agree, is not something you see every day.

On a functional level, it makes a handy, low-maintenance security light. On a frivolous level, it’s a jolly nice talking piece for people who like to talk in dark rooms.

FrogPad for fast one hand typing.

Check out this cool little contraption called the FrogPad! It's a one-handed keyboard which enables its user to hold documents, tools or other items while entering information on a PDA, smart phone, laptop or other mobile device.

Once you get use to it, you can type just as fast with one hand as with both hands The learning time for the FrogPad has been shown to significantly shorter than learning the traditional Qwerty keyboard.University studies indicate new users can reach 40 words per minute in 10 hours versus the 56 needed with QWERTY. Since over 75% of all users do not touch type but use a “hunt and peck” approach, the FrogPad presents an opportunity for faster keyboard input.

Solar powering cell phone.

This unique little charger which get's power from the sun, will not quickly charge your cell phone completely but if your battery is dead it will give it enough power to boost the battery thus giving you a few minutes of chat time. For a full charge, you will need direct sun light on the solar panel for 6 to 10 hours. The design of the solar panel is small enough to attach to the cell phone so when you are outside chatting you can also be charging your handset.

The solar panel charger also can be used as a backup battery. If it's cloudy outside or you don't have 6 to 10 hours to charge it, you can charge the solar panel charger with an AC adapter.

Sun Jar

The Sun Jar uses the sun’s rays to power three natural-coloured LED lights. The light emitted from them is then diffused through the jar’s frosted glass, giving the appearance of sunlight trapped inside.

Touch screen Cell Phone/PDA Wristwatch

The Touch screen Cell Phone/PDA Wristwatch is an unlocked GSM cell phone.Just plug in your existing sim card out of the top of your iPhone(or other GSM Cell Phone from AT&T/Cingular or T-Mobile) and insert it into the back of the watch and power it up. Call your standard cell phone number and your wrist will start ringing.

You can make and receive calls by pulling the tiny included stylus from the side of the watch and tapping the numbers on the screen. You can also play MP3 files, watch movies, store hundreds of numbers and send SMS messages and enter schedules or notes with basic handwriting recognition. The phone comes with 60 Meg of built in storage. The volume of the built in speakerphone to be a bit low, so it’s recommend using the included Bluetooth headset or wired headphones for best performance (any other Bluetooth headset will work as well).

The Difference

A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest.
A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself (and doesn't feel even the least bit weird shutting your coke/Pepsi drawer with her foot)!

A simple friend has never seen you cry.
A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.

A simple friend doesn't know your parents first names.

A real friend has their phone number in their address book.

A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party.
A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.

A simple friend hates it when you call after they've gone to bed.

A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.

A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems.
A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.

A simple friend wonders about your romantic history.

A real friend could blackmail you with it.

A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument.
A real friend calls you after you had a fight.

RICH COFFEE....hmm

The Nespresso Crystal Coffee Machine comes studded with Swarovski crystals, and will definitely add that definitive sparkle in your life every morning as you wake up to face the day. Just make sure you have at least £1,995 in your bank account :)

HTC TOUCH DUAL

At the recent CTIA 2008, US cell phone lovers will be glad to know that the HTC Touch Dual will debut in US in the next few weeks. The HTC Touch Dual is a close cousin of the earlier HTC Touch with the new Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and a slide-out keypad. It also features Wi-Fi, 3G, and the interesting TouchFLO user-interface which is close but not as good as the Apple’s multi-touch on iPhones, IMHO.

The HTC Touch Dual US version will have a 400MHz Qualcomm processor, 256MB of ROM and 128MB or SDRAM, a 2.6-inch touch-sensitive TFT-LCD screen, 3G, HSDPA, and GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, as well as Bluetooth, a MiniUSB port, dual cameras and a MicroSD card slot.

Hymini

This will be something new…wind power. It has ports for various gadgets but unless you live in an area that has tropical storms 24/7, you’d probably go tired blowing into it. This weird device goes for $49.99.

Dubbed as a “mini green hybrid power station”, you charge the HyMini up from a main. When you go out for a bike or car-ride, attach the little guy to your vehicle, and the wind turbines will trickle charge your device.

Stylophone is back with style.

The Stylophone is back, and this time with a vengeance. This updated model features a couple of sockets for you to connect a pair of decent headphones as well as a compatible MP3 player of your choice, allowing you to enhance (or murder, depending on your musical ability) your favorite songs. In addition, it coems with volume control as well as a trio of sound modes. The Stylophone is powered by a trio of AA batteries, retailing for a wee bit less than $30.

Capture 3D images on the move

This stripe projection 3D sensor from Fraunhofer IOF helps compose a 3D model, simply by projecting a stripe pattern onto the subject, using the couple of "eyes" to capture slightly distinct angles of the image based on the deducted geometry. While this technology isn't exactly the newest on the block, it is the first of its kind to be crammed into such a small, pocket-friendly form factor.

DIGI Door Lock

Now here's a door lock that has seen improvement with the times, being a touch-sensitive digital door lock known as the Luce EZON SHS-5200.
Its slim body is constructed from high gloss black material which looks like a cell phone somewhat, and numbers are entered by users using their fingertips. When the Luce is inactivated, it will not show its keypad, but the backlight will kick in the moment the start button is pressed. This reduces the risk of password detection from any Tom, Dick and Harry unless they come across this post here. There is no word on pricing, but it was designed to comply with US standards.

Personal Soundtrack T-Shirt!!!

This one is for all all-time music lovers....check out!
The Personal Soundtrack T-Shirt is real and too cool....it has already been slated for production ASAP.
It will take some time for the engineering department to figure the whole thing out, but there is a possibility that the final version will look slightly different in appearance, features, and even the $39.99 price tag that was originally posted. Apparently, this T-shirt is a wearable audio solution that boasts an embedded speaker on the front of the shirt. Washing it is going to be a rather delicate process IMHO.

computer data centers heat pool......cool

At long last, there is a way to make good use of computer data centers in your neighborhood by using heat generated from it to be funneled into the local swimming pool so that you don't suffer from shock the moment you dip your toes into the water. All the hot air generated from air conditioners that aim to keep the computers in the data center cool can be rechanneled in that manner, ensuring that all excess heat will not go to waste. Trust the Swiss to think of this eco idea. According to IBM, computers in their Uitikon center generate enough heat to warm up to 80 houses, so you do the math on a global scale.
